Waboba is one of the coolest companies to do print work for! I mean how can you not like them, their mantra is “stay young and keep life fun!” Waboba makes balls that bounce on water, a beach favorite of all ages! Loco Branding printed some goodies for their Cocoa Beach Event.
Don’t be misunderstood, we do print work for all types of companies–small, mom and pop shops on up to larger local companies. But we can’t help but feel like minor celebrities when a national retail brand reaches out to us! They hand picked us to handle the print and delivery of their custom goods that will be directly representing their brand, their product, and their name!
Our relationship with Waboba comes from humble beginnings, and just goes to prove the whole “networking and relationship building” theory. We first met Jordan, Waboba’s “Director of Fun,” (Great title, right?) in Charleston, SC when she was with a completely different company. We are just delighted that she kept in touch with us when moving on to Waboba! We love catching up with her twice a year when she comes to Orlando, Florida for Surf Expo.
So the event we recently printed goodies for was their spring break event at Cocoa Beach, Florida. Could there be a more perfect setting for 80′s wayfarer, neon colored sun glasses and Koozies? (Koozie, coozie, hugger, coolie, huggie, whatever your preferred name is for the neoprene sleeve that keeps your beer cold.) This particular can cooler clearly wasn’t the standard, this bad boy features a custom color piping and stitching, as well as a print on both sides and the bottom! Now that is not your ol’ standard Koozie. Waboba is definitely up on their taste in swag give-aways!
2013 brings great things for Waboba, as they have just released their new “Moon Ball” –”A small step for Waboba, a giant bounce for mankind.” And “We’re coming out with new colors, the Big Kahuna ball and going to launch a contest for people to try and enter to win 24 balls plus some Wababoa goodies to plan their own SplashMob,” says Jordan.
Waboba balls are available at toy stores, beach stores, & surf shops pretty much everywhere, as well as on their website. However, some our local favorite places to pickup a Waboba ball would definitely be Wonder Works of Charleston, (Charleston, SC) Ron John Surf Shop (Orlando, FL, Cocoa Beach, FL) and of course Kitty Hawk Kites (Outer Banks, NC).
