OK this is the year! This is the year that Loco Branding breaks out and scores Big! We have been planning for this year for some time, when our baby business will get the boost it needs to get the BIG WINS! In 2012, we spent time building our website, getting a great new graphic designer – Jonathan (we will profile him in another blog because he deserves a post all his own), partnering with some great new clients and now we are ready to start sharing all our Loco goodness with all of you!!

2012 was most definitely a growing and building year for us!  When Loco was originally created, We were simply a printing agency, you could come to us for your company T-shirts, printed coffee mugs, ink pens, trade show give-aways and so on.  We had so many “firsts” this year…Our first orders that were actually large enough that they had to be sourced offshore, and we also landed our first couple of “national, big name clients.”  Well, meanwhile our printing was going great, but over the last 18 months we’ve had so many requests for things we didn’t quite “offer.”  We got a lot of…”we know that isn’t exactly what you do, but we saw this or that and we think you could handle this or that for us, can you design us a logo, can you make our Facebook pretty, etc”  And just a lot of requests for services that we didn’t offer.  We realized we were missing out on opportunities and we started on a path to mending our loop holes.  We were at our wits end for who to hire first, the admin? the designer? the developer?  Fate of course stepped in, and the freelance designer that we had outsourced most of our work to became available for a full-time position.  Well that answered that question, we hired him, no more outsourcing art on a case by case basis. Early on in 2012 we brought in a new business partner, Danielle, she helped us move into a place where we could start offering web design & development.  Next on the radar is a new admin chic.  So we are well on our way, we are confident in what we now have to offer, and where we are headed!  We are beyond grateful for all those who helped us along the way, the colleagues we admire and learned something from, and the many people who have believed in us and helped us realize our potential!

So goodbye 2012 and HELLLLOOOOOOO 2013!! Bring on the Party!
